Description: Papilio bromius, also known as the Narrow Green Banded Swallowtail from Africa. The first description was in 1758 by Linnaeus. this is is a large member of the family papilionade. The male butterfly is black with a wide blue green band and the Hind wings have no tails. This butterfly is very similar to the Papilio Nireus.
